Attending Cornell as an undergraduate is a great option for students who are interested in going to law school. Although Cornell does not offer a pre-law major, law schools are looking for good minds, and any major at Cornell can prepare students well for a legal career. Students planning to go to law school may study in any of Cornell's undergraduate colleges and schools. To learn more, visit our Colleges, Schools, and Educational Paths website and be sure to review the Preparing for Law School information there.

Current Cornell students also have the opportunity to pursue the 3+3 Pathway, allowing them to graduate in six years with their bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees.
