Filing your FAFSA

Undergraduate

 

The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is one of the online forms that you will need to complete to apply for financial aid. FAFSA determines your eligibility for the low-interest Federal Direct Loan as well as federal and state grants.

  • FAFSA is found at www.fafsa.ed.gov
  • Cornell's FAFSA code is 002711
  • Use the "Link to IRS" data retrieval tool
  • (For NY residents) HESC Endowed code: 0175, HESC State code: 0174

The FAFSA determines graduate students' eligibility for the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan and the Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan.
