What is federal verification?

Federal verification is a process to confirm information you provided on the FAFSA, along with information about your household and income or expenses. Students are randomly selected for federal verification at the time that they complete the FAFSA.

Late submission of your federal verification materials can result in a delay of your financial aid review and impact your registration.

The below video reviews the federal verification process.
