Financial Aid Application Deadline
Please see the information below to review answers based on your particular area of study at Cornell University.
Undergraduate Students
Our financial aid application deadlines are listed below. These will be our deadline dates regardless of the day of the week on which they fall.
- Early Decision: November 21 (November 1 for international aid applicants)
- Regular Decision: February 15 (January 2 for international aid applicants)
- Fall Transfer: March 15
- Current Students: March 1
Our deadlines are established so that we can thoroughly review your information and provide you with an aid decision in a timely manner. For new students, applying for aid by the deadline will ensure that your financial aid award is available when you receive your admissions decision. For returning students, applying for aid by the deadline will ensure that your financial aid award is available prior to the fall charges being applied to your bill. If deadlines are not met, you may be ineligible for institutional funds.
For a complete list of application deadlines, refer to our website.
